ArteVideo Version 1.0 for Amiko Alien 8900, GI S8120 (Spark)

This plugin is to Amiko alien with Spark's firmware (1.1.42) developed and tested, but should also work on Edision Pingulux. Prerequisite for the use of a fast Internet connection and USB hard disk or flash drive to store the videos.

The program is on the menu as a plugin or cam emu started. Unfortunately, the surface does not appear immediately, so they must then use the green call button (Start Menu OSD). Just when you quit once final push in the corresponding row 'ENTER' until the status is red.

The contributions of Arte video store will be broadcast on the rtmp protocol for flv container. Fortunately, they also have the right codecs - avc1 (h264) and mp4a (aac) must not, therefore, be converted to direct them to watch the movie menu.
The Arte video store offers their videos in a French version. To get hold there, you can switch the language on the riders 'Config' to, and after reloading the relevant contributions of the categories are listed. English is not tested, in general, there are only French-language posts.

Extra storage in a folder 'arte' off or on again with the yellow function key.
AutoSuggest function for the search to enable or disable the green function key.

With the red / blue function key is switched to the other riders.

On the riders 'arte' selects the first category:
- All videos (from the columns to Science News)
- Shipments (to sending rows A-Z)
- ARTE +7 (selection of the most important broadcasts of last week)
- The search function
If you select the search, the term (maximum 20 characters) are entered using the numeric keypad (like Mobile Phone). Press 'Recall' you can delete the last character entered. Unfortunately there is no useful timer, so you have to enter terms like 'spell' as follows: 2xTaste 2 (b results), TV / RADIO button (ok sign), press 2 (gives a), 2 key 6 (n is), key TV / RADIO (ok sign), 2x key 6 (n is). When the AutoSuggest you are at least two characters, then TV / RADIO and waits a few seconds on the proposals in the list. If the correct word here is to navigate there and pressing 'ENTER' is entered as the search term. Then fill it with 'ENTER' to the list. Then, individual sections will be selected to display the individual contributions on the detail tab.

On the tab 'Details' to see the titles of individual contributions and making his selection by navigating to the title and 'ENTER'. One can switch to the tab 'Arte' Show other categories and invite further contributions from these headings for the download.

On the tab 'Download' are then pre-selected for each individual post for more information see change, with left / right.
Here you can also start the download (one at a time), once down and press ENTER. The directory path is created when you save. During the download, there is a progress bar, file size and last term displayed. Download a 50 minute video often takes longer than 5 minutes. Unfortunately, there is no reliable information before the runtime of the posts. Sometimes you can see here a hint that may be wrong.

The plugin I am running quite well, no ads - no spyware, but no guarantee of anything.

Known issues:
- Presentation of umlauts does not work yet
- Maximum text length of 720 pixels (so is curtailed on the last tab)
- The French-speaking area can not occur intercepted html-entities, then come any signs or text is aborted.
- When you refresh the lists, there are sometimes delays (server overloaded?), It blocks a few seconds
- In rare cases, the download is interrupted prematurely. This is noticed by the plugin and displayed. One can at least look at some of the contribution, or try again another day.
- When playing the video does not run smoothly. Maybe bring the developers of the firmware and do that in order for other devices (eg Optibox Anaconda) is the smooth.
- Unfortunately you can not affect the font size, and even this bright blue window without a title is always there, the drawing area is confined to the inside of the window.
- Leaves with PAGE + and PAGE can be swapped-in Pingulux.

arte video file with an ftp program to / root / plugin / copy var / bin
the other two files to / root / plugin / var copy
All three programs make it executable.
